Top 10 Things to Do
Wow!!! We’re so excited to make it into Phoenix Magazine’s Top 10 Events! There is so much going on in the Scottsdale/Phoenix Valley in the winter! Our Scottsdale Art Show takes place in our home-turned-gallery the weekends before and after Thanksgiving 2015. We’d love to have you stop in, chat, and see a home full of Peter’s latest art! Join 800+ guests as they roam our home, patio, and metal shop during the best home art tour and sale in the West – Hidden in the Hills.
Visit Peter in his digs
A big thank you also goes to ImagesAZ Magazine for their help in getting the word out about our Scottsdale Home Art Show taking place this November 2015.
Writer, Donna Kublin, stopped by our home to meet the Artist and find out more about Peter, his art and our home art show. Donna sums it all up in this ImagesAZ Magazine feature.
The idea of the show is to allow art enthusiasts 6 days to roam 44 art studios nestled within north Scottsdale, Cave Creek, and Carefree, Arizona. During the two weekends before and after Thanksgiving 2015 we turn our home into a gallery and allow the public to chat with Peter, see and shop his walls, and visit his backyard metal shop. It’s a popular show – our studio gets about 800 guests each year. When you visit, you’ll also find 2 friends of ours displaying their art as well – Paul Farmer a goldsmith and Sandi Ciaramitaro who paints with watercolor and sculpts in bronze.
See the Metal Shop
For those that want to brave the sharp steel and metal dust, we’re also opening up Peter’s metal shop out back this year. You can see where he works each day, the tools he uses, and some sculptures in progress. Doors open Friday, November 20th at 10am. Hope you can join us!
I’ll be posting Peter’s new work online and announcing it on social media so if you want watch a steel sculpture in progress or catch a piece before it hits our home show or galleries, follow Peter on Facebook and Instagram.
Find out details on the show here and plan your tour using the 2015 Hidden in the Hills magazine which includes a map of all participating studios. Guess who was chosen to supply the cover art this year!
