Healthcare Design Magazine just featured two of Peter’s latest healthcare art projects in their September 2015 edition.
Nature Art for Hospitals
The first project was a commission by a Georgia hospital for custom pieces from Peter’s nature collection, “Fig” (see bottom right photo). We love how they look on the blue wall! The leaves measure about 21″ and are customizable in terms of color and dimensions, making them an easy choice for healthcare designers and art specifiers.
Religious Art for Hospitals
A series of custom steel wave sculptures was requested for a medical facility in Illinois (photo bottom left gives a glimpse of the installation). This client wanted the seven days of creation abstracted along vertically installed waves of steel.
Medical facilities gravitate toward requests for nature art but our biggest project was actually custom religious/nature art for a hospital. The project below was for St. Francis hospital and Peter designed the heavenly reaching tree and birds and three waves for the three orders of St. Francis.
Commissions have also come through for abstract work on steel – bright, high-impact art is great for way finding through the hospital maze.
